Strategically located in the inner harbor, GCT Vanterm operates in naturally occurring deep water and is the most efficient terminal in Port Metro Vancouver. It is a 76-acre (31 hectares) container terminal with 2,030 feet (619 meters) of berth, offering six high-speed, super post-Panamax dock gantries, a modern fleet of container handling equipment, and an on-dock intermodal rail yard with nine tracks totaling 9,600 feet (2,926 meters). GCT Vanterm is in compliance with Canadian Maritime Security Standards.
